What is Sexual Assault?
Sexual assault and abuse are terms that refer to sexual contact without your consent. Rape, incest, attempted rape and unwanted sexual touch are sexual assault. Sexual Assault is a crime of violence and power, NOT an act of sexual passion. It can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. A person may use force, threats, manipulation, or coercion to commit acts of sexual violence.

- Sexual assault by a person’s spouse or partner
- Unwanted sexual contact/touching
- Sexual harassment
- Sexual exploitation and trafficking

- Masturbating in public
- Watching someone engage in private acts without their knowledge or permission
- Nonconsensual image sharing
